After reading lots of science fiction, this is the most amazing and interesting one for me. The story begins with a scientist, Victor Frankenstein. His family lived in Geneva, his parents loved each other, he had a brother, William, and childhood playmates, Elizabeth and good friend Henry Clerval. When he was fifteen years old, a huge fork of lightning that he had ever seen in a wild storm had destroyed a tree and roused his interest in electricity. He began to read all the books about electricity and its terrible power and finally created a creature successfully. The story makes me feel man-made is a very terrible thing. Later, he found an empty hut which has a small hole could see into the room next to the hut. He saw the people love each other and wished to join them. Once, only the blind man at home, he entered the house, but when the others came back, they shocked and one of them pulled him away and beat him with a heavy stick. His heart got hurt and didn't want anyone to see him. When he was in the dark hut, he remembered his creator, so he decided to look for him. On the journey, he saved a girl fall into the river, but her father shot him with a gun. He was more angry and sadder than before. He hated his creator. As he nears Geneva, Victor's younger brother William ran into his hiding place. William referred to his father's name, Alphonse Frankenstein. The monster roared, put his hand on the boy's neck to stop him from screaming and picked up his gold chain. Then he saw a pretty young woman asleep in a hut, he put the gold chain in her pocket, he thought the police would guess the murderer was her, and knew it would hurt
