Surprisingly, there are around five million people who are in fear to be homeless later on if they ever break up with their partners. According to the survey, nearly one in three people who are living with their partners admitted this issue.
There are nearly 5 million people, which is 4.9 million people to be exact who said that they feared that “if their relationship broke down” they would lose their home and they will become homeless afterwards. In some cases, this situation leads the couple to a trap.
Relationship breakdown was seen to be the most prevalent reason why there are increasing homeless people in England. Based from the housing the homelessness charity, Shelter, this has become the third most common cause for the homelessness
