Siddhartha Deb illustrates the life of a dexterous upper class entrepreneur, namely Arindam Chaudhuri. The biographers differ in writing styles as Sonya strictly reflects the events in Jamshed’s life which highlight his transformation, without using unnecessary jargons and details. However, Siddhartha plunges into irrelevant descriptions and adds his own personal opinions and insecurities in his article. The contents are contrastive as the two protagonists have different personalities. Junaid Jamshed was a musician-come-religious preacher who went against his fathers will. His father was a religious man who did not approve of Jamshed’s passion for music. Jamshed had to build his future from scratch, as he had no help in doing so. After reading the articles, a certain idea generates that it is very difficult to welcome change in society; also music and business are fields in which include a high degree of unpredictability. Both these fields can be criticized for simple reasons. For example, from once known for giving hits, Junaid reached a point in his life when his music was not enjoyed by his audience. Similarly, Arindam faced a series of fails till when he finally became “the face of the New India”.
