For this reason, the Pet Grooming and Boarding Industry is seeing steady growth that is only expected to grow over the next five years because owners are purchasing a greater ranging of high-value services for their “fur-babies” (pets), contributing to the industries’ revenue gains and overall growth. The rising Canadian population and increasing capita per disposable income bolsters this trend, providing consumers the financial means to indulge in these pets-are-family services. The Pets-Are-Family Industry primarily focuses to provide pet care services such as boarding, grooming and obedience/training to loving pet members of the average family household, but it can also include animal shelters, doggy-day care services, and dog-walking.
