Life is full of hard choices. Everyone makes hundred thousand decisions every day. It may be a small thing or a big thing. Every day, we choose what to wear, which road to take, what to eat or drink, and when to go to bed. We decide what to be our jobs, should we marry or not, and will we have a baby. We can’t choose our families or our race, but we could choose what kind of person we want to be. We make these choices, and we have to live with them. Life can be beautiful and meaningful because we can make choices.

In the past, people often had fewer choices. Now almost everything comes with a lot of choice. People often think that the road not be taken was better. The psychologist Barry Schwartz said, “The secret to happiness is low expectation.” People always ask themselves, “What would have happened if I had chosen the other road?” People may blame themselves when they make a bad decision. For example, when I was twenty-four years old, I chosen to have a good job instead of study. The job was great and I can support my life. However, I said to myself, “If I reach thirty old and look back to myself. I might scold myself and ask, “Why do you spend your time in the office? Why didn’t you make your dreams come true?” You are still young; you can’t just sit there like a bird in a birdcage that lost its freedom.” After thinking for two years, I realized that I have to resign and do what I really want: study design. There seems no right answer because I will change my mind after I grown up. I am a tough girl; I never thought that I would get married. I didn’t even want to have a relationship or get married. I thought it was a wasted time and an obstacle if you want to be successful in a career. You might have no time to make your own business, while you spend your time and heart on your family and children. However, I changed my mind. After I got a job, I found that having a family and doing a job are totally two different things. I come to believe that I could be a superwomen with my mates, so I got married.
