My mother has always told me that I was, “born in the wrong generation.” I’ve been described as being divergent compared to most teenagers my age, and I tend to have a different way of thinking. Because of this asset, I find myself constantly losing friends due to my disinterest and lack of conformity to the things they label as cool (drugs, sex, alcohol). That being said, my biggest concern upon attending Sweet Briar, is that I will not be compatible with anyone at the school, in addition to the abundance of females at the school. At times, females can be known to be more dramatic than males, and that can cause some issues. However I do believe, because of the lack of dependability on parents, the maturity will be generalized. My mother has
