“Hopes and dreams help people survive, even if they never become real” Well, this quote can be used to describe what the two protagonists in “Of Mice and Men” written by John Steinbeck did to survive in the world. This quote is significant to the characters in the novel, because Lennie Small and George Milton, both wanted to own a Ranch, hoping that they would own one some day, is what kept them motivated to work. Fortunately, she hadn’t given up and Curley’s wife was still motivated in accomplishing her dream and still had potential in completing it if Lennie hadn’t killed her.
