Since the beginning of time, humans have felt the primal urge of lust over things they want. Lust is the desire for something, whether it be money or a relationship. Every single person has felt lust at least once in their lifetime. The most common form of lust is the sexual desire for another person. The desire and lust for women is ever prominent in culture and art. Throughout the novel The Natural, by Bernard Malamud, lust takes form in ways one does not think about lust. The main character, Roy Hobbs, lusts over many women and fame. Memo Paris lusts over money. Pop Fisher lusts over a chance to play in the World Series.
