Throughout the book dr. Jekyll and Mr. >Hyde, Dr. Jekyll’s house is a place of intense mystery. The house was most likely a Victorian house (like many wealthy people’s houses in 1800’s). this house was most likely rectangular with a small inlet in the front of the house, this inlet houses the front door of the house. Within the house is a dining room to the left of the entrance and an entertainment room to the right. Both theses rooms play a role in Dr. Jekyll’s dinner parties (occurred numerous times through the duration of the book). First Dr. Jekyll would great and entertain guests in the entertainment room, and then bring them to then dining room for the meal.
