Hello Rolling Stones,
I wanted to let you know how much I have enjoyed your music and how much it has changed my life. Your music has much more meaning to me than people think. Today if you were to say, “The Rolling Stones,” everybody that knows the least bit about rock and roll will know who you are talking about. You are an iconic rock and roll band that many people can’t help but to get into your music. You are a band that a lot of people have heard of even if they don’t listen to rock and roll, everybody has at least heard of some of your most famous songs. These songs include “You Can’t Always Get What You Want”, “Ruby Tuesday”, and “Paint It Black”. These songs are the ones that is played in movies that everybody has watched so they have heard of your music, they just don’t know that it is you who sings it. Many people knew who you were and agreed that you were the greatest rock and roll band of the sixties. This is supported in the following quote: “The Rolling Stones began calling themselves, in the sixties, the ‘greatest Rock and Roll band’ of all time” (“The Rolling Stones Bio” 1). Anyone who knows anything about this genre of music would know who you are and what you have done throughout your musical careers. You are constantly under the public eye to be judged for every little thing that you do that the public does not agree with. When you all became a band, you did not plan on becoming as big of a band as you have become, you did not expect to constantly be under the watch of the public eye. This is stated in the following quote: “The Rolling Stones are not just the world’s greatest rock and roll band they are also the most well-documented” (Levy 1).
