For one thing, hurricanes are enormous storms with extremely strong winds. Hurricanes form over ocean water. The only way for a hurricane to form is for it to be on top of warm water and winds blowing in the same direction of the formation. Hurricanes have a scale to measure how threatening they can be with the Saffir-Simpson hurricane Scale. The hurricanes are then tested by their wind speed, for example Category 3 winds have to be up to 178- 208 km per hour. If NASA were to look on top of the hurricane from space they would see the Eye of the hurricane, the Eye is the hole in the center of the storm. Inside the hurricane a Rain Band forms, which contains spiral bands of clouds, and thunderstorms circling around the eye. As a result, many
