My book is about a family who movies from America to Canada, because the father is a
scientist. At the begging the family is moving and the dad and son get to the house first.
Later the mom arrives with a baby chimpanzee. At first the boy doesn't like it because
he is partially jealous. The boy was also upset because here he had no friends and he
thought everyone would look at them weird because they had a baby chimp. Later the
family goes to a party of a coworker of his dad's and he make friends with a boy a year
older then him and the boys sister who is his age. These kids hung out together with
some other kids they did lots of stuff over the summer and Zan (the chimp) and the boy
became really close. Later school starts. The

Ben the friend he made was Jennifer's brother. The
boy also made friends with some neighborhood boys. Later in the story Zan was getting
really good at sign language which was why they got him because his dad is a scientist.
The boy then gets into a fight with Jennifer so they didn't talk much more in the story.
Later the funding begins to come in they had the money they needed, but the boy's
father didn't seem to be that interested in the project anymore. The father then sent the
chimp to a chimp farm where a family kept them. But then once when they were visiting
they realized that the man was going to sell the chimp to a science experimental place.
The boy and his mom knew about this place and it was a terrible place. So the family
steals Zan back and start fundraising money so they can have him back, then when
they finally get Zan back they realize they have nowhere to keep him. So they look
around and they find a chimp enclosure that once they send Zan their none can take
him anywhere else. So that is where they put Zan and that's where he lives the rest of
his life.
I really like this book because it has a family fell to it. First it comes off with that
