The novel Frankenstein was written by Mary Shelley and published on May 11, 1818. The setting of the novel mainly takes place in Geneva, Switzerland but also contains settings from Scotland, Ireland and the Arctic Circle. The novel centers on Victor Frankenstein and his creation and their one going battle against each other.
