Recommended: The role of the greek gods in ancient times

I am reading The Son of Neptune by Rick Riordan and I am on page 103. This book is about a person named Percy Jackson who wakes up not knowing anything about who he is, and all he can remember is one person named Annabeth. He does not know anything when he enters a camp he shows the whole camp that he is the son of Neptune by controlling the water in the camp. In this paper, I will be questioning and evaluating.

In this book, I have one big question in the book so far. Who is Percy Jackson? Some people think that she is a hero. One way people think that is because Hanzel and Frank are being protected by him. One way he protects them is when they first got into camp and he used his Neptune ability to control the water to smash the gorgans …show more content…

For one thing Nico di Angelo knows who Percy is and he wants to act like he does not. One thing is that when Percy says I think I know you, Nico, he says something like I am not sure you do. Proof he knows him is “Hazel hesitated. Something about her brother’s reaction wasn’t right. He was trying hard to act casual, but when he had first seen Percy, Hazel had noticed his momentary look of panic,” (Riordan 62). That shows how he knows him but does not want them to know that he does. Also when they talk it seems like he is scared of Percy because of how powerful he really is. Another thing is that he is always moving around which would let him find Percy. For one no one knows where he is even his sister. Also when he actually comes back to camp everyone is surprised and do not know what to say. Lastly, Reyna does not like seeing Nico because he is so powerful and he has a curse. Another thing about Percy is that he is very powerful. One thing is that he is the son of Neptune. Neptune is one of the three main Gods. Being one of the three main which Gods means that he is a very powerful God. Also, all of the Romans are scared of Neptune because they do not travel by water unless the really have to.
