Catalina Martin is the main character, the protagonist. She is latin american, and described as the quite stubborn type. At the start of the book she was very rude to Aaron Blackford who can be interpreted as the antagonist. Cataline and Aaron both held a lot of grudges against each other. Mainly Catalina but Aaron also held some grudges as well. But moving on by the time in the novel, as they both get to know each other more while pretending to be dating. She is the protagonist in this book. Catalina or by her closest friends and family is referred to by “Lina” was stressing for her older sister Isabel`s wedding. Isabel and Lina were quite the opposite of eachother. Lina didn't have much luck in love. For her whole life she had only dated one person, Daniel. But Daniel and Lina broke up and after that her family always pitied her. She didn't want her family to pity her or think that she couldn't manage to get a boyfriend and be happy after Daniel, so she told a little lie to her family about her “american boyfriend” which is obviously non-existent. That's when Aaron Blackford comes in, the guy she hates at work. He offered to pretend to be her boyfriend but she found it quite odd. Why would he? out of alle her colleagues decide to be her fake boyfriend. Catalina and Aaron were both as stubborn as the other and at last they made a deal. She pretends to be his girlfriend for this charity event, and he pretends to be her boyfriend for a week in spain. Despite the hate that Lina had towards Aaron after she heard him say some hurtful things about her, they still managed to make a deal. Because I like romance novels or just the romance genre itself. I find enemies to lovers books quite intresting. So that is perhaps also a reason as to why I liked this book. I like the Author's writing style. She writes in a way that it's easy to understand. I also liked how the author describes Catalina`s family members and friends. The book in itself is a good book and it is a book I would recommend to read as enjoyable reading. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes romance books from the age of 14 and up. But It does have some inappropriate scenes so therefore i wouldn't recommend this book to a child. But it's a good book for teenagers who are a bit
