Leadership is demonstrated throughout history in several different forms. Hence, some individuals stand out more than others, such as Dwight D. Eisenhower, Winston Churchill, and Franklin D. Roosevelt. They are all noted for their striking leadership skills and wisdom in their difficult decisions. To point out, these three men all made remarkable public speeches that inspired their audience with profound words of wisdom and courage. Leadership and power are directly related with one another, and that is shown throughout the speeches of Dwight D. Eisenhower, Winston Churchill, and Franklin D. Roosevelt during World War II. For example, these three men are all in executive power during the years of 1939-1945. They lead their countries with passion, wisdom, and precision. Roosevelt, gives a speech called “A Date Which Will Live in Infamy” that addresses the issues of Japan's attacks on the United States. Even Though the U.S is entering a time of war, Roosevelt demonstrates calmness and confidence while informing his audience of the dangers.
