The men in charge of the boat were fishermen. They had been out on these waters many times. This was no ordinary storm. The language here is stark. Terror filled, they awoke Jesus up from a “nap” as the boat was sinking and said to him, “Do you not even care that we are DEAD MEN?!” I can picture Jesus calmly getting up and saying those three words, “Hush...be still.” In an instance, every single element in the water and wind stopped as the sea became as a glass mirror. Imagine. No doubt, one could hear a pin drop at that moment. What kind reaction did this produce? FEAR. They were not just afraid. They were very afraid. This is the kind of fear that stains one’s undergarments. I have no doubt they all muttered the words without breathing, “MY GOD! WHO IS THIS?”
Add all these reasons together and such a silence regarding Donald Trump seems to make more sense. But that still does not satisfy me, nor should it you. Might there be something else going on? Something in the Spirit Realm? Dr. James Dobson has been a man that has been well respected in the evangelical community. He has spent his life standing up for Christian values. But Dobson is a prime example of a person that has me scratching my head. In an article by Samuel Smith on ChristianPost.com, Dobson is quoted as saying that Trump, “did accept a relationship with Christ”; that he “knows the person who ‘led him to Christ’ and believes that Trump’s ‘really made a commitment’”.
