Star Wars is an epic space opera film series created by George Lucas, which includes galactic battles, theatrical adventure, as well as chivalric romance. The music, mainly composed by John Williams, gives depth to the storyline and is something that fans of all ages will always remember. The specific Star Wars movie that I have chosen to analyze is Star Wars, Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, which was released on May 25, 1983.
I can’t tell you how many nights I lay awake going over in my mind if I got lucky and land a windfall I would make every dollar count.” Chester said. “You have now been gifted with a new hope and the force awakens. And remember it could all ‘Shizam’ end in one fell swoop.
Once the hero has received his Call to adventure, like George Lucas’s Luke Skywalker from Star Wars, they must go on to face their first challenge, the threshold guardians, which ultimately challenge their will to take on the burden of the task. For young master Skywalker, the threshold guardians come with guns. Shortly after young Skywalker receives his call to adventure, from R2-D2, the little droid disappears. When Luke finally locates R2, a group of warriors called Tusken Raiders strike at Skywalker, knocking him out. The sand savages scavenge through Luke’s vehicle, until Jedi master Obi-Wan Kenobi arrives scaring off the savages, saving Luke.
Her fierceness augments her intelligence, aiding her improvisation (striking a rescuer at the perfect moment and quickly locating a shovel to utilize as a weapon). Her cleverness also shines when she joins Cassian on various successful missions, including the final infiltration of Scarif base. Her canon point leaves her on the precipice of forming stronger connections — of choosing hope and rebellion over a life of merely surviving. The loss of her father and Cassian's apparent attempt to assassinate him have left her hurt and bitter once more, but she now understands that the Empire is the ultimate threat. The Death Star is real and deadly and must be
May 25, 1977 the release of Star Wars: A New Hope, just another Sci-Fi movie that was set for failure. Little did the movie industry know , this franchise would be one of the most successful in movie history. Lets not forget the cultural appeal Star Wars would make and is continuing to do so. Star Wars has a found its place in society and is now an established staple film that everyone knows about. With its famous saying “May the force be with you” it is hard not to know where that saying is from.
I do not believe that "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" was the best movie because the battle scenes seemed less important to the survival of the majority of the characters, and the villains seemed non threatening. The battle scenes between Luke and Darth Vader in the original six movies appeared to be very important. Because Luke played such an important role in the Rebel Alliance and the Jedi Order, every battle he fought in, it was crucial that he lived. The villains in Star Wars: The Force Awakens seemed very non threatening. The leader of the First Order, General Hux was “all bark, no bite”.
In Star Wars IV New Hope you see several things that are like our world. Like how people negotiate business deals with each other. In the video, Han Soto reminds me of a used car salesman. Trying to convince you that this vehicle is a life changer with stories about how great it is. It sounds all good until he tells you the ridiculous price.
` In May of 1977, Star Wars: A New Hope was released with overwhelmingly positive reviews and marking a new era in cinema. The writer and director of the film, George Lucas, decided to expand upon the Star Wars universe in 1999 by making Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, with a story that took place before the original film’s story. This movie was made with advanced equipment and cutting-edge CGI (for 1999), nonetheless, the movie was panned by critics and enraged an entire generation of moviegoers. The answer to why this happened lies in the differences between the two films: use of special effects, construction of characters, and complexity of plot. “A special effect is a tool, a means of telling a story.
The details of what all happens in this flick are being kept secret though. The new movie is said to focus on Rey and Finn as they try to find the Jedi legend. This is going to be a movie that you do not want to miss. JJ chose the dark side on @GMA. What #ForceForChange #UNICEFKidPower band is calling to you?
At the end of the book, Leia changes from a nervous girl who relied on her parents to a girl who was not afraid to make her own decisions, no matter the
Star Wars: A Near Disaster Star Wars: A New Hope was released to the public on May 25, 1977, and became an instant classic and set box office records along the way. Little did the public know that just a few months prior, the movie was radically different and was almost a complete disaster.
Gender and Race in Film from a Feminist Analysis Representation of women and people of color in the film industry remains mostly divisive issue due to the heightened attention to diversity in recent years. Based on this observation, the current paper analyzes the state of representation in this industry focusing on the film “Star Wars: The Last Jedi.” Star Wars: The Last Jedi “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” is a film written and directed by Rian Johnson that was initially released on the 9th of December 2017. Mark Hamill and Jack Nicholson. His death led to him becoming a cult star as ‘the audience that outlives a star becomes able to read their final performance’ (Egan and Thomas, 2013). When people watch a star final performance they feel different about it because there will be no more from the actor/actress and it feels more personal to the viewer. Many fans put stars on a pedestal as they think that because the star is so much more talented that they are so put them out of reach. This is why a death of a star is important as it brings the star to a normal level of humanity, as the stars are ‘no more or less mortal than the audience’ (Egan and Thomas, 2013).

Writing session Task 1: For my English book project, I chose The Lord of the Rings: the fellowship of the ring . It is the first book in the trilogy. I chose this book because I’ve always been more interested in reading fantasy, or science fiction rather than the other genres. Lord of the Rings are one of the few series in this genre who is very popular that I haven`t read yet, so I was really interested and thought this would be a good choice for me .
