To begin with they did not get along with Anne frank. In the story, the Van Danns get annoyed with Anne. Mr. Van Dan also thinks Anne is an instigator. They did not get along with each other. Mrs.Van Dan and Mr. Van Dan argued because Mr. Van Dan said they could have made it to America already but Mrs. Van Dan forgot to pack her stuff.
The Frank Family were stuck in the Secret Annex with another Jewish family. However, even in this bad situation, Anne Frank looks towards the positive things. Frank seems content and ready to face what is coming up ahead. As the years pass by, though, everyone’s attitudes seem to become more restless and their hopes dim. Mr. Frank tries to remain positive but the reader can tell that towards the end of the story, it gets harder for him to keep everyone’s spirits high. An example of this is when Anne says, “Everyone is low. Even Pim can’t raise their spirits...”(561).

The bond between parents and their children is a love stronger than any other bond they have. We all have a special reserved part of our hearts solely devoted to our parents. All children love their parents, and probably couldn’t live without their parents. On page 83 Mr. Frank risks his life by leaving the apartment. Anne like any normal child asks frantically for someone to go find her father.

We just finished reading the play The Diary Of Anne Frank and watching the movie, The Diary Of Anne Frank(2009). At the beginning of both, they introduce Anne Frank, a young Jewish girl, hiding from the Nazis. Anne Frank and her family move into the attic of her father’s business (the secret annex). Then the Van Daans another family moves in with them. By the middle, they are all getting mad at each other and feel trapped.
