Summary of “The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde” The book “The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde” by Robert Louis Stevenson is about the struggle between good and evil. Mr. Utterson, Dr. Henry Jekyll’s attorney, is trying to figure out who Mr. Edward Hyde is and what has happened to Dr. Jekyll. Mr. Utterson is told a story about a man, Mr. Hyde, trampling over a child. Mr. Hyde gets in no trouble for this because he pays the family of the child with a cheque from Dr. Jekyll. This alerts Utterson that Hyde is using Jekyll’s money. After learning this, Utterson goes to Jekyll and tries to tell him that Hyde is not who he says he is and that he should not be trusted. Jekyll is not interested in what Utterson has to say about Hyde
