Crimson Peak Crimson Peak is an American gothic romance/horror movie that came out in October of 2015. It was written and directed by Guillermo del Toro — whom is famous for producing other American movies such as: Hellboy, Hellboy II: The Golden Army, Pacific Rim, Mama, and many more. Toro has always loved monsters, he considered them to “symbolize great power.” His new movie, Crimson Peak is “ about a house that has a memory and induces horror” (Biography.) A ghastly warning from a mother should be taken with seriousness, even if it is from her ghost. Edith Cushing’s mother comes to advise her to “beware of Crimson Peak” a few days after she has died. Read with caution.) Edith is a young, 20th century author who is fascinated with writing stories about ghosts — possibly because she has had many encounters with them. She meets a charming, youn g English man, Sir Thomas Sharpe, whom was trying to get Edith’s father to buy his creation, a clay mining invention. Mr. Cushing declines Sir Sharpe’s invention, frankly because he believes that Thomas doesn’t have the “hard working” skills that a man should have. Sharpe quickly woos his way to Edith’s heart, with his dance moves that swifts Edith off her feet using his old way charms. Her father does not approve of this blooming relationship, and tells Sharpe that he must break it off before it gets out of hand. Sir Thomas promises to break Edith’s heart, and leave America the next morning after doing so with his sister, Lucille Sharpe, to head back to England. Mr. Cushing was found brutally murdered the next morning, and with no family left, Edith decides to marry Sir Thomas Sharpe. They move to the Sharpes’ home in England, which is Allerdale Hall. The mansion is in poor condition, and has several holes in the roof. Shortly after moving there, Edith starts being visited by several spiritual entities — which
