1. I've read over 15 books 2. I read daily. 3. I picked The Book Thief. I expected it to be about a boy who steals books to live and pay off his family's debt. 4. Liesel: Liesel is the absolute main character of this book. She is a bright young girl even though she has little education. She is a lover of books. Her love of books drives her to steal some more books. She has blonde hair and brown eyes. Her personality is a mix of kind, adventurous, daring, and gentle. Max: Max became a close and understanding friend to Liesel. He struggles through many things, due to him being a Jew. He is a very bright young man and makes good works of art in books. I feel that the ending was, in fact, fitting. I also feel that one other person in Liesel's life could have been saved along with her. This would have meant that she wouldn’t have to endure the pain and suffering of being alone. 13. She experiences confusion and pain because she was the only survior of the bombing. She lost her past identity in this event and had to continue without her past life with her. She struggles to restart with her life. 14. I would describe Liesel as daring. She stole books, stole food with Rudy, hid a Jew, and defied
