However, the Bible tells us that he was infinitely more than all that. In his book “Mere Christianity” author C.L. Lewis states the following: “I am trying here to prevent anyone from saying the really foolish thing that people often say about Him: 'I'm ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I don't accept his claim to be God...’” It is because this is contradicting all major religions. Jesus had claimed to be God, so why would he be a great moral teacher if Lewis also believed he was a liar. There are at least 39 authors who wrote in The Bible. The Bible is divided into two testaments: The Old Testament and The New Testament. The Old Testament is the writing before Jesus Christ was born while the New Testament is after he was born. This book will help me understand more about this topic because it is the religious book many religions derived from.
