In Arthur Miller’s The Crucible many conflicts that could be addressed about society in every era were brought to light. Widely known for the subject matter of this play, The Salem
Witch Trials, the realities and fallacies of the trials were described in the words of Arthur Miller.
One main factor within this play is the theme, Jealousy does more harm than good. From jealousy of wealth, to family, to marriage all aspects of jealousy are shown within this small pilgrimed village in Massachusetts.
