Did you know how atlas the giant got tricked by hercules? “ Three golden apples' ' is an article written by Nathaniel Hawthorne about Hercules and the giant atlas. Hercules wanted to bring three golden apples to a king but couldn't get them so he had atlas the giant get them for him. One reason why the plot has a lot to do with the main theme of the excerpt is in the passage “ Three Golden Apples' ' by Nathaniel Hawthorne. Hercules wanted the golden apples. So he got Atlas to get them for him but then tricked him into carrying the sky for the rest of eternity. To explain, this relates to the plot because Hercules made atlas have hardships because he wanted the golden apples to give to the king. To further prove my topic sentence in the passage “Weight” by Jeanette Winterson it states, “Unsuspecting atlas nodded and put the apples on the floor of the universe,” (Article 2 paragraph 16). When he went to the garden of Hesperides he enjoyed his new found freedom and was going to leave hercules to carry the sky for all eternity.
