Any decision in life all comes down to the choices made and the path favored, if chosen a different path than expected, it will transform their life. The choice chosen will define their life and it will tell them who they truly are. Divergent is a novel about a society split up into five factions, each faction is dedicated to a different virtue. Each citizen may choose between the faction their family belongs to or change it up, for the rest of their life. Over a century ago, after a war, the founders of Chicago created a system that they thought would generate peace for everyone. They divided their society into several factions. Everyone had to be tested to determine which faction best suits them and that is where they will belong. Divergent has the same similarities to the Hunger Games in this scenario because both Divergent and the Hunger Games takes place in a futuristic time period. Additionally, both of their societies are split into different communities, Divergent is divided into five factions; Abnegation, Dauntless, Erudite, Amity, and Candor and the Hunger Games is divided into twelve districts.
