The three major impacts in the civil war were the telegraph,mini ball bullet and amputation.Some information is that the nation fell apart in 1861 through 1865 that changed American warfare.They created a fighting technique that created alot of death people never seen before. It was a bloody and ruthless war. According to document C it says that the telegraph was one of the most important things in the civil war because you can communicate faster and even the president used it a lot to be specific he had like 1,000 telegraphs during the war. Did you know that in the war there were a lot of dead soldiers? The telegraph may have saved lives by being able to communicate faster.The telegraph is important. One reason why it's important is because the president used it during the war.This is why the telegraph was important during the civil war. The Mini ball bullet was invented in the 1840s. They invented a bullet that was a very strong bullet. It killed a person instantly or it wound the person badly. According to document A it explains how a soldier or person feels after he got shot he described it as a “benumbing blow deadening sensations for a few moments”. It saved a lot of lives because when soldiers were badly hurt they performed a surgery where they chopped off an arm or where they were wounded. It saved life. There was a 75 percent chance of living and just a 25 percent of dying back then that was good. Like for example General Sickles was shot and wounded badly and they performed an amputation on him it just took only a few weeks or month to heal.
