In The Tradgedy of Romeo and Juliet written by William Shakespeare is about 2 familes who had an ancient feud. The Capulets and Montagues. Romeo from the Montagues and Juliet from the Capulets fell in love dispite their familys feud. It resulted in a lot of deaths. The ancient feud was the most at fault for the tragic ending. The first reason that the ancient feud is responsible for the death of Romeo and Juliet is because they didn’t want Romeo anywhere around the Capulets. In Act 1 scene 5 line 61-63 Tybalt says “Uncle, this is a Montague, our foe, A villian, that is hither come in spite To scorn at our solemnity this night.” This is Tybalt saying he does not want Romeo at the dinner because he is a Montague and they don’t like the Montagues.
