Who is to Blame Have you ever read or heard of the tragedy of Macbeth, by William Shakespeare, if so who do you think is to blame? There are three main people who could be to blame first, the three witches, second Lady Macbeth, and third Macbeth. Macbeth is a great war hero and helps win two major wars. After these wars he meets with three evil witches who tell him that he will be king someday. The witches planted this thought of being king in his head leading him to act upon it.
Peer pressure is a major factor in the story Macbeth, by William Shakespeare. In the story, Macbeth was the one to kill King Duncan, but it wouldn’t have happened without the help of Lady Macbeth. When Macbeth was trying to get out of murdering Duncan, Lady Macbeth talked him back into it. She also drugged the servants, so the murder would be easier. With that being said, it is clear that Lady Macbeth is more responsible for the Death of King Duncan.
When it came to Duncan’s murder, a lot of factors came into play. It began first with the Weird Sisters telling Macbeth of his future king status. Some people may say that three witches are the most responsible of the death of Duncan. Macbeth never considered murdering king Duncan until he saw the prophecies of the witches.
