In the story “The Twelve Labors of Heracles”, a son was born. His name was Heracles. His father was Zeus, and he was a god. His mother was Alcmene, and she was a mortal human. When Heracles was born, he was born with great strength. There was a problem though. Zeus was married to Hera and had a baby with Alcmene. Zeus cheated on his wife, which made Hera extremely upset. Hera found Heracles and struck him with great madness and that gave him a terrible temper. Heracles soon killed his entire family. He knew he had to find a way to forgive himself. Heracles needed some way to “free himself.” He went to Eurystheus. Eurystheus came up with a plan. Heracles would have to serve Eurystheus for twelve years and each year he must do a life-threating
