The united states should require all future U.S. high school graduates to spend one year in service to their country before college. In some contries around the globe, students are required to go into the special forces for a certain amount of time before they go onto college or to go on with the rest of their lives. In some ways, this could be seen as a good thing. The kids learn what life outside of their small town is like. This is clearly supported by the fact that all student that go into the military are more patriotic and believe they have more freedom than others who did not go into the military. Clearly, it would be a reasonable idea for the United States to inforse a law for recently graduaded high school students to attend one year in the service of their contry. After being in war, people will have less of a reason to go around shoting up places and causing scenes. Not only would it give them patrism for their contry, but it also gives the teenagers a chance to learn loyalty and freedom, as well as respect for those who have fought before.
