In similarities, Nan and Ronald were both worried and scared after seeing the hitchhiker after a few times and called and talked to their mother. While talking to their mothers, they both find out that their mothers were in the hospital because they were to nervous. They met someone new and let them in the in the car, and never admitted to seeing the hitchhiker until the run off the road.

It starts out with Arthur Dent and Ford Prefect on Earth however, Earth soon gets destroyed by aliens and they have to catch a ride on a spaceship. Arthur and Ford experience many adventures together such as arriving the the Heart of Gold. Adams brings up many deeper meanings and questions while using comedy in order to describe his characters. He uses many different techniques to make the reader laugh yet question ideas from the book.
This view of the family communicates to Hitchens’ American audience that Mark and his relatives resemble our values and preserve our way of life. The narrator, which I 've concluded is X, gets into an agreement with his girlfriend, and she tells him that she 'll go after Z, his rival. To save their relationship, X, drives through the rain at night to see her. As he is driving on the superhighway, he fancies the thought of her driving towards him in the other direction, along with other cars and even X on the superhighway. A character 's inner journey shows how much a character goes through changes –whether good or bad- in the story.
