The Vietnam War: The US Involvement In Vietnam
In chapter 7 Luis goes to east LA to riot. He goes to riot about the Vietnam war because they don 't want to send more mexicans to the war. Things start to get violent and in a turn of events he gets arrested and taken to jail. He later gets released with no trial or questioning. Back at school he starts a walk off to protest better conditions for the students.

With communism on the rise, America is forced to contain communism to stop the domino effect of communism from taking over. With communism taking over the united states is forced to join the war in Vietnam. This war was one of many, but controversy strikes this one hard. The Vietnam War was controversial for a variety of reasons. While the Vietnam War was originally supported due to the containment of communism and the domino effect it sparked controversy due to the credibility gap and the united states army draft.
Accounts of war always will be documented throughout history, despite the reasoning or significance. War has been brought upon many countries, whether it was country against country or their people against people. In Inside Out & Back Again, we are taken back to Vietnam and are shown many hardships Vietnamese people faced throughout the Vietnam War. Ha, and her family had to leave their country, in order to escape the war between North and South Vietnam. In this journey, the family had to go through suffering as they tried to build themselves back up from the despair the war had brought upon their family.
Thousands of Americans soldiers died in Vietnam. The war had cost so much that President Johnson was forced to cancel multiple programs including his social reform program. America had failed to contain communism and many people lost confidence in our country. It was nearly 20 years before America again tried to police the world. However, the domino affect was proved wrong because the loss of South Vietnam to communism did not immediately effect what happened in governments of other countries.
The Vietnam War affected American foreign policy significantly, both during the conflict and in the years that followed. Many Americans lost faith in their government and its foreign policies as a result of the war's protracted, expensive, and ultimately disastrous military involvement. The conflict also caused a change in American foreign policy, emphasizing diplomacy and using a more cautious and practical approach. Additionally, as decision-makers strove to learn from the mistakes of Vietnam and advance peace and security globally, the war brought a fresh emphasis on human rights and democracy promotion in American foreign policy. There are many different views on the Vietnam War (1945-1975) and to this day America’s involvement is contentious. This paper explores American involvement in the Vietnam War with the purpose of bringing light to the unjustness of American involvement in the war. Through comprehensive research and the use of various articles, this research paper asserts that the Vietnam War was a lie of American democracy and an excuse to spread anti-communist hate. This conclusion was achieved by investigating the various factors of American involvement throughout the Vietnam War. Under fears of expanding communist influence, the American Government used foreign policy to unjustifiably enter the war. Political theory was similarly used to justify entry into the Vietnam War.
America’s involvement in the Vietnam War, essentially caused the country to split due to different points of view. Dr. King, on one hand, wanted and supported the retreat of American troops stationed in Vietnam. While President Johnson believed that America’s future relied on the outcome of the war, so he supported the troops being stationed there. Dr. King's speech aroused not only the idea of American Troops to be brought home, but also created the argument that America should not be involved in a war, for another country’s independence. Especially, when there is a great division continuing in our own country.
I was a veteran in Vietnam War, and have been released from active duty. I opposed the Vietnam War and the U.S. involvement in it. I spent 2 years in Vietnam, and have been wounded many times, and have had saved my crew many times. I have received 3 purple hearts, a bronze star, and a silver star. Yet despite all of this, I realize that the United State’s involvement in Vietnam is not only not beneficial to the U.S. economy or U.S. troop morale, but just plain wrong.
Love can and can’t always conquer the unique stressors of an interracial relationship because an interracial relationship can consist of strong love that is unbreakable but under some circumstances, love can 't conquer all relationships due to cultural barriers and society. Depending on the relationship that people are in, others around them may support it while others may not. Some children feel pressured to live up to the expectations of their culture by dating someone within the same race. However, if they feel secure about their relationship they would not let anything destruct their love.
