We all know the story. A radio dramatization gone wrong, right? Wrong! In reality, The War of the Worlds hadn’t even begun as a radio dramatization, but a book written in the year 1897 by author H.G. Wells. After the book was written, people from all over the world began wondering, “What if there really IS life on Mars? What if there really ARE beings that are looking down on us with eyes so full of envy, they’d do anything in their power to stop us and take over our home, our planet?” This just led to mister Orson Welles, a radio broadcaster, to creating a dramatization set in the United States on October 30, 1938.
