I am pretty sure he would have not done that with Byron unless he threatened to kill him. Another example is when he laughs with the bus on the Larry Dunn joke at Rufus; he is willing to fix his relationship. Also, as much as he hates Larry Dunn, when By is beating him up he feels bad for him because he knows know body deserves this. Also when everybody is cheering on By, he walks away.

I thought The Watsons go to Birmingham-1963 by Christopher Paul Curtis was an outstanding book. It was very slow at first, just getting to know the characters. Even though it was slow, it really helped add to the emotion of the book. It showed how close they were as a family and what they were willing to do for eachother. However, it got exciting when Byron started getting in trouble.

The motive for Manson 's actions stems from his hatred and lack of understanding of society, saying "I look at the things that you do, and I don 't understand" (Manson). For example, in the book a black man named Tom was accused of raping a white women and of course back then racism still existed and because the whole jury was only filled with white people he was charged guilty. Another reason why Ms. Waugh should read this book because it shows how back than there government was messed up with racism against people who weren’t there color and that is how I believe our government is now but much worse. The narrator which is Scout a girl at age 4 who has a brother named Jeremy or Jem for short at age 6, their father Atticus is a lawyer and their Mother died they were young, and they live in Maycomb, Alabama.
