Summary of the novel The wild horses of hidden valley a book that tells the story of 12 year old Bobby Jones who was growing up during World War II in 1944. He lived in Fort Worth in the country side and he always wanted to own a horse, he even dreamed about it. He and his mom were alone because his father had to leave to fight for his country in the war. Bobby was sad because he missed his dad. Bobby had blue eyes and red hair like his father, often his neighbors told him that he was looked alike his father and that made him feel so proud and tall just like his dad. So, he just passed the days thinking about horses because it was his dream he even had been saving money to buy one when he had enough, so he could ride with his dad when he comeback from war. He had just counted the money for his horse and had gone outside the house to swing; he was so deep thinking that he did not notice that he was swinging very strong and hit the front glass door. As a result, his mother was so angry and made him buy himself the glass with the money he had saved for his horse.
