The Witches Are More Evil
By examining both Lady Macbeth’s and the witches actions, it was noticeable that both Lady Macbeth and the three witches have a great impact on Macbeth’s reactions. In the play and the book Macbeth, written by William Shakespeare, the hero, Macbeth, gets influenced by the humans surrounding him actions. However there are two main characters that affects Macbeth to develop from a loyal citizen into a corruptive human, those two characters are his wife, Lady Macbeth, and the three witches. The three witches are trying to allow Macbeth plummet in troubles, however Lady Macbeth tries to save her husband, Macbeth. While the witches are having the nefarious actions to influence Macbeth’s behavior, Lady Macbeth is innocent and Lady Macbeth is helping Macbeth.
The witches are the ones that influenced Macbeth to consider that Macbeth should design the harmful plans, so Macbeth could achieve his desires and be the next king. Meanwhile Lady Macbeth helped Macbeth to create the plans, so Macbeth would not fail, and their life would not be collapsed. If the witches did not instruct that Macbeth will be the king, then there would not be any intentions in Macbeth’s head. Lady Macbeth is helping her husband, Macbeth, to reach his objective with all of her possibilities. Lady Macbeth saved Macbeth more than once during the times Macbeth was hallucinating. Lady Macbeth told Macbeth that he is only visualizing and Macbeth should be strong and brave. The witches started the thwarting plan, but Lady Macbeth told Macbeth that Macbeth’s plans may fail, and Macbeth may not be capable of making his plan corporeal. The three witches have a master called Hecate. Hecate is a part of the plan to harm Macbeth, but Hecate wanted to harm Macbeth even worse than the three witches. When the three witches met Hecate it appears that the three witches wanted to harm Macbeth. “ ]Hecate[ Have I not reason, beldams as you are, Saucy and overbold How did you dare To trade and traffic with Macbeth In riddles and affairs of death …” (William Shakespeare, page 106) Hecate declaring that the witches has just wracked her enjoyment of seeing Macbeth suffering and enduring pain. Hecate is saying that the witches are helping Macbeth, but the witches are not cause they planted the seed of ambition in his head. Meanwhile Lady Macbeth hates seeing her husband plummeting in troubles. Lady Macbeth is supporting Macbeth to be a man and fight his hallucinations.
