Title: The Wizard Of Oz. The central focus of the plot is the quest to visit the Wizard of Oz in the Emerald City . The wizard is a mysterious figure that would be able to get Dorothy home to Kansas. The Wizard is what drives the whole plot as he’s being seeked and tells Dorothy she must complete another task before returning home . Author: L. The perspective however would fall into omniscient since Baum reveals the emotions and thoughts of all four main characters. For example, when the Tin Woodman hears the giant cat his thought are shown “The Tin Woodman was about to reply when he heard a low growl,and turning his head (which worked beautifully on hinges) he saw a strange beast come bounding over the grass towards them” (Baum 41). Baum may have done this to show how each character is affected by the events they are going through.
