A key clip in the trailer that uses this is when the camera is far away and high up focusing on the horse carriage that the main character is arriving in. The carriage is travelling on open land and no activity can be seen around. This symbolises how alone and far away they are from any sort of help. This almost makes the audience know that there is trouble to come. Another example that makes the audience feel more involved is when protagonist Arthur Kipps first enters the house and the camera is panning down from the staircase. The rain and thunder also give the feeling that once Arthur Kipps has entered the house he has entered evil, and he has no way of escape. The use of diegetic sound is very important in this trailer, as the only other sound that can be heard is the toy box.
