Patrick Henry once spoke the words. "I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death." These are the words that made Patrick Henry famous. To begin, Henry started practicing law, and soon after gained a reputation for winning a lot of his cases. This shows that he had effective persuasion skills. Later on in his life, Henry began speaking politically. He gave his first big speech to the legislators of Virginia in 1765. This speech was given opposing the Stamp Act. In brief, Patrick Henry used his clear, powerful voice, and body to express during his
