The first Pagani supercar was created in Italy, 1999. The car was the Zonda C12. The C12 is a 2 door all wheel drive that is mostly made of carbon fiber. It had a larger V12 engine with a top speed of 208 mph and 540 hp. It had a new and better aerodynamic shape and a 0-60 mph in 3.7 seconds. It was also the first car to have the flamethrower exhaust. The flamethrower is four different exhaust pipes in a tight square. Cars with powerful engines like supercars will sometimes shoot fire out of the exhaust. The placement of the exhaust on Pagani causes (when in slow motion) the fire to look like it 's coming out of a flamethrower. This exhaust was also added to the Zonda R. The R was a used in auto races more often than not. It has a V12 engine with a top speed of 217 mph and 740hp. The first one was finished in 2007. Only 15 were made. It holds the fastest lap record at Nurburgring at 6 minutes 47.48 seconds. It is mostly made of carbon fiber and it has a roll cage. It has a selling price of 2.8 million
