The results I received from the Rorschach inkblot test were interesting. My participant claimed to have seen an animal, more specifically a mouse, which is something that is innocent and gentle. They used both the dark spots as well as the white parts of the inkblot to be able to get to that finding. This outcome is a very reasonable image to see, judging from the fact that I was easily able to see it when I specifically looked for it. I cannot comment on the popularity of it, but I can say that this image is a non-threatening image. This means to me that my participant has good intentions, looks at the positive sides of things, and was probably in good spirits when taking this. I provided my participant with a black and white photo for the Thematic Apperception Test. When giving me a story of what happened, she described a couple who is basically experiencing some hard times. They were looking for jobs and were unsuccessful in doing so. In the photo, they were currently on some type of public transport going home after a long difficult day. This interpretation, in my eyes, is a negative portrayal of the particular photo. The first being that my participant sometimes struggled coming up with responses. She could not always think of something she felt was worth telling even though I instructed her to speak whatever came to her mind first. The second point being I got many simplistic responses from the words I chose. That could be because the words themselves were not the greatest in eliciting meaningful responses, or it could be that my participant just was not thinking deeply about what it meant to her. I could tell from her responses that she enjoys people that are close to her and the hobbies and activities that she participates in. Other than that, I could not get much out of the
