Yes, we all know how our body works internally to keep us alive, but what about the world, that gives us a place to stay. How does that affect us? Rotation, revolution, and the seasons. The moon revolves around the Earth on its axis every 27.3, and it takes the same amount of time to rotate as well. That means if it rotates and revolves at the same time, a day and a year are the same thing on Earth. Even though the rotation and revolution are both 27.3 days, the cycle for all of the phases takes 29.3 days. The phases are caused by the positions of the sun, moon, and Earth. Half of the moon is always shining on the moon. Sometimes you might only see half of it, and sometimes you might see all of it. It all depends on where the sun, moon, and Earth line up. There are eight phases in total that you might see, one of the more important and famous one, is the full moon. During a full moon, there is a theory, or a myth, that people go crazy, and it is called the lunar effect. There is misleading information about this theory, and it is all very inconclusive, so the topic is not very valid.
