The biggest problem in Macbeth is the fact Macbeth has a desire to be king, but has no heirs. It was important in the play for the person who was stepping up to throne to have children. The children can take over for the king if anything happens to them. Lady Macbeth unsexed herself, getting rid of her right to have children. She wanted to be strong like a man. Lady Macbeth is manipulative and evil. She is very confident of her husband’s future. He could have a great chance of being king if they did have children because he is very honorable. They go through with the plan that very night. After the murder, there were a couple of people who were quite suspicious of Macbeth, including Banquo. Then, Macbeth becomes King. Macbeth realizes there are people who are on to him and think he may have something to do with the murder. In Act III, Macbeth shows extreme jealousy of Banquo's children. He states the fears of Banquo are deep. Macbeth knew the witches predicted Banquo would be the next father of kings. He cannot be father of kings if he is murdered. Macbeth does not kill Banquo himself because he does not want to make anybody angry. I think the whole play is deranged. Macbeth was a noble hero and a close military advisor to the King. I am confused on why he would go to such extreme measures to kill the king. He needed to think more in depth about his foolish plan. Lady Macbeth uses her demented ways to make him believe murdering will solve everything. I think Lady Macbeth is insane for pushing Macbeth towards murder and putting the thoughts into his head. The biggest surprise for me was the end when Lady Macbeth feels about what has happened. I think the thought of power went to both of their heads which caused them to do absurd things. They think too much of themselves which causes conflict between the
