Today, I would like to talk to you about John Steinbeck’s novel “Of Mice and Men” and the themes of Authority and Companionship that are explored in the story. “Of Mice and Men” is set in the Great Depression era and tells the story of two migrant workers, George and Lennie, who travel together in search of work. Throughout the novel, the theme of Authority is explored through the character of Curley, the boss’s son.
