In Elie Wiesel’s book Night, and Martin Niemoller's Poem, First they came for the communist, and the excerpts from Eve Bunting’s, Terrible Things. The authors present these in similar themes. These all relate to the Holocaust in many ways. They are all depressing and mournful in the same way. In Wiesel’s book, the Jews and the men from Gestapo were put on trains and all sent to a forest. The Jews started their work digging huge trenches and when they were done, the men from Gestapo were sent to do the same thing.
