Throughout Shakespeare's drama Macbeth, moral corruption plays a role amongst the tragedies that occur in supernatural form. The supernatural aspect takes place when Macbeth’s choices begin to have an effect on his personal life. During a feast, Macbeth is pulled aside to learn information about Banquo's death. Upon learning about his death he decides to go about the feast until Banquo's ghost appears. Macbeth begins to talk to Banquo the figment of his imagination while Lady Macbeth makes excuses for his outburst to the guest. The more somebody commits the same act the more desensitized they become. Individuals by the day chose to commit a sin without the realization that there are consequences and a haunting feeling of liability. People act upon what they feel rather than understanding possible consequences for their actions. In the moment an action can seem like a proper one, but as time goes on and the action plays out consequences occur. Every action has a reaction that unravels throughout time in a sequence of events. Words that are said during a moment of questioning can be either encouraging or disheartening. In Macbeth’s case he had gotten discouraging words from his wife. Lady Macbeth questions Macbeth's manhood causing him to act out. The insistent pressure of his wife pushes him to the brink where he must use his feelings to get stuff done. Once he cracks under pressure amongst the guest at the feast she than begins to see what she has done. She tries her best to cover up the mistake by making excuses for her husband's outburst.
