In "The Tiger's Bride", Angela Carter uses the theme of objectification of women to show the transformation of the narrator from a simple possession to assertive women. As the readers sees her transition from the ownership of her father to the ownership of the beast, the reader begins to see her resistance to be considered an object. She is able to find her inter confidence and proves not only to herself but also to the beast that she is not longer a lamb but a tiger.
