What is reinvention? It can be considered the art of changing something that already existed and giving it a new designated role. Prior to undergoing reinvention, one must experience enough pain in their current situation in order to reinvent themselves. An effective reinvention is when someone creates a completely different life compared to the one they used to live. The characters from Gone Girl, The Americans, and Breaking Bad all reinvented themselves into new individuals with new values and beliefs. Although the characters witnessed different forms of reinvention, they were all able to recreate themselves into something better.
