Charles Dickens book A Christmas Carol portrayed social and economic problems in the industrial revolution Era, this draws the reader to focus more on caring about each other and addressing the issue of the wealthy not treating the fellow poor man with respect and dignity. Charles Dickens wanted society to change all together not just Ebenezer Scrooge, even though he encountered a dramatic self-change.
